Julie K. Rodriguez

Financial Professional

With 15 years of experience as a financial professional with Voya Financial Advisors, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families build clear, confident paths toward retirement. I hold Series 6 and 63 registrations, along with a life insurance license, allowing me to provide financial strategies tailored to each client’s unique financial picture.

My professional foundation is rooted in education. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois. Prior to my career in financial services, I was an educator—an experience that continues to shape my passion for teaching, leadership clarity, and empowerment in retirement planning.

While at Northwestern, I was a four-year collegiate soccer athlete, earning the 2006 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award and Big Ten All-Academic honors in the Big Ten Conference. Athletics instilled in me the discipline, teamwork, and long-term focus that I now bring to helping clients pursue their financial goals.

Originally from Tinley Park, Illinois and a proud graduate of Marian Catholic High School, I now live in NW Indiana with my spouse and our three children. My office is located in Munster, IN where I serve individuals, families, and business owners throughout the region.

My approach centers on coordinating investments with clearly defined goals to help structure and predict reliable retirement income. I believe retirement planning works best when it is collaborative, which is why I work closely with clients’ tax preparers/CPAs and estate planning attorneys to ensure all aspects of your financial strategies align effectively.

I am passionate about giving back to the community and actively support organizations including my local school district, Best Buddies and the American Cancer Society. I am also a member of the St.John-Dyer Chamber of Commerce.

I strongly believe that both individuals in a relationship should be actively involved in understanding their accounts, income, and long-term financial strategy. Financial confidence comes from clarity, education, and shared decision-making.

My goal is simple: to help you understand what you own, why you own it, and how the steps you take today build the financial future you envision.
